Cavapoo Price & What’s Included

If you've been researching Cavapoos, you've probably noticed that the cavapoo price can vary a lot from breeder to breeder, and you're right to wonder why. I want to be completely transparent with you, because you deserve to understand exactly what you're paying for before you ever put a deposit down anywhere. This page walks you through my Cuddle Cavapoo pricing, what's included, how my reservation and payment process works, what ongoing costs to plan for, and how to protect yourself from scams. Pricing can shift from litter to litter, so always confirm current numbers on my live Price page before making any decisions.

What Is the Current Cuddle Cavapoo Price?

In general, my puppies are $4500 - $5000 pet price. The first 2 pick spots are Premium picks and are an additional $1000. Check each individual litter for specific pricing.

If you're interested in breeding rights, those are considered on a case-by-case basis. Reach out and we can talk it through.

Please treat this page as a general guide and verify the current price for your litter before you plan your budget. You can also learn more about the breed itself on my Cuddle Cavapoos page.

What Your Cuddle Cavapoo Price Includes

This is the part people sometimes don't think about when they're comparing prices, and it's really the heart of why a puppy from a health-testing program costs what it does. Your price isn't just the puppy on go-home day. It's everything that went into that puppy before you ever meet, and long after.

Here is what's included:

  • A puppy from DNA and OFA tested parents

  • Age-appropriate vaccines and dewormings

  • A 2 year health guarantee (details in the Purchase Agreement)

  • 30 days of free Trupanion pet insurance, with no waiting period

  • Socialization to at least 10 new people

  • Age-appropriate training (you can see videos on Instagram)

  • Daily activities from 3 weeks old, including noise CDs and 10-step handling

  • A start on potty and crate training

  • A blanket with mom's scent

  • A small ziplock bag of food

  • A Puppy Go Home Packet with vaccine and deworming records

  • A lifetime of support from me

What Goes Into My Cavapoo Price

The work behind my price starts long before a litter is even planned. By the time a puppy goes home with your family, I've put months, sometimes years, of preparation into the parents and the program.

Health Testing and Parent-Dog Care

I am OBSESSED with canine genetics, and I genuinely mean that. I teach genetics classes to other breeders. Every parent dog in my program is DNA tested through Embark for 175+ genetic diseases, and when I need to go deeper on something specific, I use Animal Genetics as well. Breed-specific OFA testing is completed by a certified veterinarian. My breeding dogs also receive care through Riverside Pet Care, canine fertility specialists.

Every puppy gets a veterinary exam at 6–8 weeks before going home. Because there are so many scammers stealing my pictures, I don't post my parent dogs' health results online, but I'm always happy to share them with you privately by email or text. You can read more about my health testing and curriculum on my Why Choose Us page.

I want to be honest with you: genetic testing reduces risk and helps me make informed decisions, but no test and no breeder can promise that a living animal will never have a health challenge. What I can tell you is that I do the work, I share the results, and I stand behind my puppies with a 2 year health guarantee, with the details spelled out in my Purchase Agreement.

Early Vet Care and 30 Days of Trupanion

Before your puppy comes home, they've had age-appropriate vaccines and dewormings. You also take home 30 days of free Trupanion pet insurance with no waiting period, so your puppy has coverage from their first day home. I'm not an insurance advisor, and your ongoing coverage decisions are yours to make, but I set this up because I know how stressful those first weeks can be.

Home Raising, Socialization, and Early Training

My puppies are raised in my home with my young kids, or in a guardian home under my instruction. They hear normal house noise and they're held and handled by children from the start.

I raise my puppies on the Empowered Breeders curriculum. Beginning at week three, we do a simple 10-step handling process daily with each puppy. This is SO IMPORTANT. It helps your puppy get comfortable having their ears, paws, mouth, and body handled. Not all puppies may love it, but they will all at least learn to be compliant to being handled. Your kids, your groomer, and your vet will thank you. We also play noise CDs and introduce every puppy to at least 10 new people before go-home.

Age-appropriate training starts early too, including a start on potty and crate training. This is a foundation, not a finished product. Your puppy will need continued guidance from you at home, but they arrive primed for it.

Go-Home Supplies and Lifetime Support

Your puppy goes home with a blanket that carries mom's scent, which can make those first nights much easier, plus a small bag of the food they've been eating and a Puppy Go Home Packet with their vaccine and deworming records.

And then there's me. I genuinely love the families I work with, and I'm here for questions long after go-home day. That lifetime of support is part of what you're getting, and I take it seriously.

How My Reservation and Payment Process Works

My reservation and payment process is clear and documented from the start:

  • Reservation fee: $500 through Venmo or GoodDog. It's non-refundable and goes toward your total.

  • Full payment: due within 72 hours of the 6-week vet exam, via GoodDog, Zelle, or bank wire.

  • Utah sales tax: 7.25% if you live in Utah.

For the full step-by-step process, please visit my How to Adopt page. It walks through everything from application to go-home day.

Applying and Choosing a Puppy

Ready to get started? Take a look at my upcoming litters, then fill out a puppy application so I can learn about your family and what you're looking for. From there, we follow the adoption steps together, and when the time is right, you'll reserve your spot. I walk alongside you through the whole process.

What Does It Cost to Own a Cavapoo After Bringing One Home?

The puppy price is a one-time investment, but every family should plan honestly for the ongoing cost of ownership. Your actual costs will depend on where you live, your veterinarian, how often you groom, what food you choose, and whether you carry pet insurance, so I'd rather point you to the right people than quote numbers that may not fit your area.

Grooming, Food, and Supplies

Cavapoos need daily brushing, and I recommend a professional groom every 2–4 months. Ask your local groomer for current rates so you can build that into your budget. Food, toys, a crate, and other routine supplies add up too.

Routine Vet Care

Annual wellness visits, parasite prevention, and dental care are all part of responsible ownership. Ask your vet what care they recommend for your puppy and what it typically costs in your area, and build it into your monthly budget rather than treating vet visits as emergency-only.

Training and Pet Insurance

If you want extra training support beyond the head start your puppy arrives with, plan for that based on your own goals. For insurance, the 30 days of Trupanion included with your puppy gives you a chance to experience coverage firsthand and decide whether you want to continue it. Premiums vary by coverage level and location, so get a quote for your own puppy.

How to Avoid Cavapoo Scams

I'm going to be direct: scammers are actively stealing my photos and creating fake listings. That's why I don't post my parent dogs' health results online, but I'm always happy to email or text them to you privately. That's not a red flag; it's me protecting my families.

My reservation fee is paid through Venmo or GoodDog, and full payment goes through GoodDog, Zelle, or bank wire, exactly as listed on my Price page. If someone claiming to be Wonderful World Doodles asks you to pay any other way, such as gift cards, stop and confirm with me through my official website before sending anything. For more common questions about my program and policies, my FAQ page is a good place to start.

Red Flags to Watch For

When you're researching any breeder, these warning signs should make you pause:

  • Prices that seem unusually low for a puppy with documented health testing and vet care

  • Sellers who won't video call or let you see the parents

  • Requests for payment by gift cards or other untraceable methods

  • No written contract, no health documentation, and no vet records

  • Only a social media presence with no traceable business history

A legitimate breeder will welcome your questions, share verifiable health results, and have a documented adoption process. If you're ever unsure whether a listing or message is really from Wonderful World Doodles, reach out through my official website. Don't send money to anyone you can't confirm.
